LOOKING FOR WRITERS/ PUBLISHERS Over the years at Khamir, and my own personal journey has sat beyond the finished product. Especially in context of Khamir ,the work raw materials like kala cotton, indigenious wool has been momentous in evolving textile processes, in the quiet shifts that happen between herders, spinners, dyers and weavers, their wages, long term capabilities And also my own work in the ongoing question of how craft can scale without losing its depth. Much of this doesn’t always get documented with the nuance it deserves. I’m looking to connect with freelance writers, editors, and publications (like TOAST Magazine or similar spaces) who are interested in exploring: material journeys/ process-led storytelling/ the changing nature of craft economies/ balancing markets and meaning....
