Curriculum Developer Wanted π
This role is for a hands-on, creative Curriculum Developer who designs meaningful, engaging curriculum for junior high students. Grounded in timeless Jewish values, this curriculum will inform how adolescents actually think, feel, and learn. Youβll be creating content that weaves emotional awareness, ethical development, and real classroom experience into lessons that feel relevant, human, and enduring.
This role is a great fit if you:
- Have worked as a junior high school teacher (grades 6-8)
- Bring a mental health background (counseling, social work, psychology, school-based support, or related field)
- Have experience writing curriculum that is thoughtful, developmentally attuned, and trauma-informed
- Are creative, flexible, and student-centered
- Can collaborate while also working independently
- Are open to per-project work
What youβll do:
- Create curriculum that supports student growth, emotional well-being, and character development
- Integrate Jewish values such as responsibility, compassion, resilience, and community in age-appropriate ways
- Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging, junior-high-ready lessons
- Design materials that are practical, adaptable, and classroom-ready
- Infuse creativity, real-world relevance, and developmental insight into every project
