Contract Opportunity: Data Engineer, Advanced Analytics – Hong Kong We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer, Advanced Analytics for a 12-month contract role in Hong Kong, with potential for extension. If you are passionate about building next-generation AI solutions, this could be your next role. What You’ll Do: Develop and maintain scalable AI/ML applications, with a strong focus on NLP, Computer Vision, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) using tools like Azure AI Search. Research and implement agentic AI workflows, enabling autonomous agents to handle multi-step tasks. Prototype cutting-edge concepts like the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enhance AI interoperability. Conduct performance tuning, A/B testing, and deploy containerized solutions on OpenShift. Prompt-tune large language models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama, etc.) to meet project requirements. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI into web/mobile apps using Python. We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field. Experience in AI/ML engineering, software development with AI components, or enterprise application development. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP); Azure AI Search/Copilot Studio knowledge is a plus. Familiarity with vector databases/knowledge graphs for RAG implementations. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in agile environments. Excellent communication skills to convey complex AI concepts to diverse stakeholders.
