This is a fast-moving contract opportunity for candidates who are local to Charlotte or within commuting distance and can attend an in-person interview next week. Role: Data Engineer II Location: Charlotte, NC Work Setup: Onsite / local candidates strongly preferred Duration: 6+ months Rate: Around $50/hr on 1099 Openings: 4 Interview: In-person interview required next week Assessment: Glider test required Industry: Financial services experience required I’m looking for candidates with hands-on experience in: GCP: BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Cloud Functions Big Data: PySpark, data pipelines, partitioning, indexing Programming: Python, SQL Data Engineering: ETL/ELT, data warehousing, data modeling This role is focused on building and supporting scalable data pipelines, working with large datasets, maintaining data models, and supporting production data environments in a regulated financial technology setting.
