Key Responsibilities -Work with product teams to develop meaningful metrics, define path forward, remove ambiguity and roadblocks, and drive to completion. Act as an owner, ensuring success despite obstacles. -Write SQL code in DBT to build and reporting tables with the metrics needed to visualize in dashboards, including AWS QuickSight and Tableau. -Work with other BI Analysts, Data Engineers, Software Engineers, and team members in product and design to solve problems collaboratively. Strong collaboration and technical expertise are required. Skills & Qualifications -5+ years of experience working as a senior data engineer or other data-centric position. Must include experience partnering directly with stakeholders to define data problems, determine strategy, define metrics, and create necessary data structures. -Strong SQL skills (proficient with all joins, CTEs, window and aggregate functions, etc.). -Experience in ETLs (experience with DBT, AWS DMS, Fivetran, and Boomi preferred). -Experience in data warehouses (AWS Redshift preferred). -Strong accountability skills, including responsibility for completing work independently, raising blockers with urgency, persisting despite obstacles, and learning from past mistakes. -Highly curious nature. Must be driven to solve problems and dig deep to find solutions and ensure understanding. (services a plus) -Strong business acumen and ability to contribute to business objective achievement through data-driven insights. -Experience working in the field. -Strong written and verbal communication skills.
