🚀 Freelance Opportunity: Senior Data Engineer We are looking for an experienced Freelance Senior Data Engineer to support data engineering initiatives on a contract / project basis. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy building scalable data platforms and working with modern cloud data stacks. 📌 Engagement Type Freelance / Contract Project-based or long-term (part-time / full-time – flexible) Remote / Hybrid (project dependent) 🛠 Responsibilities Design and develop batch and near real-time data pipelines Build and maintain Python / PySpark ETL & ELT frameworks Orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow Implement transformations and models using dbt Work with Snowflake (Snowpark) and other cloud data warehouses Execute Teradata → Snowflake and on-prem to cloud migrations Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting Collaborate with analytics, BI, and business stakeholders Ensure secure, scalable, and cost-optimized data solutions 🧠 Required Skill Set Python, PySpark Advanced SQL, Teradata SQL Talend, Apache Airflow, dbt Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Teradata AWS / GCP / Azure data services API & file-based ingestion (CSV, JSON, Parquet, Avro) Dimensional modeling & performance tuning CI/CD, Git, Terraform Strong understanding of data governance, RBAC, and PII handling 👤 Ideal Freelancer 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience Comfortable working independently on deliverables Strong communication and documentation skills Experience with cloud data migrations is a plus 📩 Interested?
