Title: #DataEngineer – SQL Server to Databricks Migration
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server:
o T-SQL, schema design, indexing, query optimisation.
o Experience with SSIS, SQL Server Agent jobs, or other ETL tools.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks (or similar Spark-based platforms) using PySpark and/or Spark SQL.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and ETL/ELT concepts (star/snowflake schemas, slowly changing dimensions, etc.).
• Experience building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines and workflows.
• Strong skills in Python and SQL.
• Familiarity with working in cloud environments (e.g., Azure Databricks, AWS Databricks).
• Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD for data pipelines.
