Datavid is committed to delivering cutting-edge data engineering solutions that transform business operations.Role OverviewThe Data Scientist plays a key role in Regulatory Data Hub initiative, supporting the delivery of standardized, trusted, and compliant regulatory data across the organization. This role acts as the key resource to implement data transformation pipelines according to the transformation pipeline architecture, including development of required logic and definition of mapping tables. Additional analytical skills are required for the role to take over the responsibility to define and implement the quality control pipelines for data transformations.Key Responsibilities Participate in refinement sessions and contribute to task estimations Report work progress to data analyst in Jira Review mapping definition with data analysts Contribute with other data scientists on mapping definition for transformation pipelines Contribute to mapping function development and unit testing of these functions Contribute to mapping configurations Support the data analyst and data domain lead in the review of mapping configurations Define the design of quality control pipelines, ensuring mapping accuracy and alignment with analytical expectations. Review and maintain the quality control pipelines with the Data Analyst, Data Domain Lead and Data Governance Lead Implement or configure the appropriate tools for the approved quality control pipelines.Key Deliverables Precise estimates for tasks in the Jira board High quality code for the mapping functions, developed according to the Data Ops core principles Mapping configurations Comprehensive and well-documented quality control pipeline design High quality implementation and tool configuration for the quality control pipelinesSkills and Qualifications Bachelors degree in data Analytics, Computer Science 5+ years of experience in data transformation pipelines or ETL Strong technical skills in Databricks, Python development Strong quality control and analytical skills, experience in SODA would be a plus Practical experience working with AI , ML & large language models, including prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation. Ability to integrate LLMs with enterprise data sources, ensuring accuracy, governance, and safe model behaviour. #opento
