Job Title: Data Steward-13+ Years Location: Remote Contract: W2/C2C/1099 We are seeking a Data Steward with strong Collibra expertise to support enterprise data governance and catalog maturity initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Collibra Catalog, Operating Model, metadata management, business glossary development, and data lineage, with a strong focus on documenting table sets, values, characteristics, and certified data sources. Responsibilities ·         Focus on data catalog maturity (identifying columns, tables, business terms and defining characteristics). ·         Identifying and documenting Table Sets and Values within Collibra. Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Collibra (Catalog, Governance, Operating Model) Experience improving data catalog maturity across large-scale data environments Expertise in Metadata Management, Data Stewardship, Business Glossary, and Data Lineage Experience with metadata tagging, data quality profiling, and certified data sources Strong SQL/database knowledge and ability to classify technical and business assets Experience with Informatica EDC, Alation is a plus Background in Banking, Insurance, Pharma, or other regulated industries preferred Preferred Profile: Data Governance Specialist or Technical Business Analyst with enterprise data catalog experience Ability to work independently with data owners and business stakeholders in a remote environment This role is ideal for candidates who have built and matured data catalogs, not just used them.
