Engineering Designer

We are hiring a part time contract Engineering Designer! Company Description At Helivue Design we make auxiliary fuel and water tanks for the off-road industry manufactured in Colorado USA building out portfolio to cover as many vehicles as possible. Role Description This is a part-time contract role for an Engineering Designer ideally based in Colorado. The Engineering Designer will be responsible for interpreting 3D scans, creating and reviewing drawings, developing engineering designs, and utilizing Solidworks. The responsibilities include collaborating with project teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and contributing to other engineering projects as needed. Qualifications Strong skills in Engineering Design and the ability to develop detailed technical solutions Prior use of Solidworks mandatory (we use SW 2018) Proficiency in creating and interpreting Drawings Proven expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software Relevant knowledge in Mechanical Engineering principles and practices Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills Effective communication and collaboration skills with team members and stakeholders
