English-Arabic Translator

Job Summary： We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Translator with expertise in the engineering and construction industry. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both English and Arabic, with a strong ability to accurately translate technical documents, project reports, specifications, contracts, and other industry-related materials. The role requires a deep understanding of engineering and construction terminology, as well as the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and precisely in both languages. Key Responsibilities： Translate a variety of technical documents, including engineering drawings, project plans, specifications, safety guidelines, and contractual agreements, from English to Arabic and vice versa. Ensure translations are accurate, culturally appropriate, and maintain the original meaning and technical integrity. Review and proofread translated materials to guarantee consistency, clarity, and adherence to industry standards. Collaborate with engineering, project management, and technical teams to clarify terminology and ensure contextually appropriate translations. Manage multiple translation projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards. Assist in developing and maintaining a glossary of industry-specific terms in both English and Arabic. Provide occasional interpretation support for meetings, conferences, or site visits as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a translator, preferably within the engineering, construction, or infrastructure industries. Native or near-native proficiency in both English and Arabic, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages. Strong knowledge of technical terminology related to engineering, architecture, construction, and project management. Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and documentation practices. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Proficiency in translation software and tools is a plus.
