English-Chinese Traditional Translator

We’re looking for Freelance Translators (English → Chinese Traditional) to join our global talent community at Acclaro. This role is ideal for experienced linguists with a passion for technology and localization, working on impactful IT and software projects that help global brands connect with users in meaningful ways. Location: Remote (Taiwan-based) Language Pair: English → Chinese (Traditional) Domain: IT / Software Localization Key responsibilities: • Translate and post-edit content from English into Chinese (Traditional) with accuracy and clarity • Ensure translations are culturally relevant and aligned with client requirements • Maintain consistency in terminology and style across projects • Collaborate with project managers and reviewers to meet deadlines and quality standards • Perform self-review and quality checks to deliver high-quality work Requirements: • Native proficiency in Chinese (Traditional) with excellent command of English • Based in Taiwan • Demonstrated professional experience in translation/post-editing, ideally in IT/software localization • Strong understanding of cultural nuances and localization best practices • High attention to detail and commitment to quality • Familiarity with CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados Studio) is a plus • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote setting • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with global teams If you’re passionate about language, technology, and delivering high-quality localization, we’d love to hear from you.
