English-Somali Medical Interpreter

We are currently hiring in-person medical interpreters in Central Ohio. Somali Interpreter & Global Language Services LLC is expanding our interpreter network to better serve healthcare providers, nonprofit organizations, and community partners across the region. We are seeking qualified interpreters in the following languages: Somali, Spanish, Arabic, Nepali, Swahili, French, Amharic, Oromo, Tigrinya, and additional languages as needed. Preferred qualifications: • Medical interpreter training (40-hour program preferred) • National certification (CCHI or NBCMI preferred) • Professional experience in healthcare or community settings • Ability to complete required background screening (BCI/FBI) This opportunity is for independent contractors providing primarily in-person services throughout Central Ohio.
