🎞️ PAID OPPORTUNITY - Freelance Social Media Manager - No DMs - Emails only! Email is below. 📧 We’re looking for a Freelance Social Media Manager to join the team behind award winning Maltese led short film @decodeme_film Decode Me starring Mia Foo (Baldur's Gate 3) and Megan Placito (The Salt Path) for a 2–3 months freelance contract (remote work) as the film continues its festival journey! In line with our commitment to increasing representation within the film industry, priority will be given to Maltese applicants and individuals with disabilities. This project is supported by Arts Council Malta. We are seeking someone who can lead and execute dynamic social media campaigns that increase visibility, engagement, and meaningful conversation around the film. Objectives: - Grow social media exposure and audience engagement - Design and execute creative campaign strategies (not just edit/post content) - Build momentum as the film progresses through the festival circuit - Strengthen the film’s digital identity in line with its themes and values Responsibilities - Develop and implement strategic social media campaigns - Post consistently (minimum every other week, with campaign-based flexibility) - Edit and repurpose existing video/photo assets (we have a strong content library ready) - Create engaging posts, reels, and visuals aligned with our established branding - Propose new ideas for audience growth, partnerships, and community engagement - Collaborate with writer/director Sharon Sibyl Gatt, crew and cast members, campaign participation (Q&As, takeovers, interviews, awareness moments, etc.) Ideal Candidate: - Strong understanding of visual storytelling and digital audience building - Experience designing social campaigns for film, arts, or social impact projects - Confident using photo/video editing tools - Proactive, creative, and strategic thinker - Passionate about inclusive storytelling, neurodivergent experiences, and creating a safe community Interested?
