Freelance Video Editor

Impala Cinematics is looking for a hyper-creative Freelance Video Editor to help us launch our newest digital product: a premium, 1-Click Cinematic Filter (LUT) pack. We aren't looking for standard corporate edits. We need an editor who lives and breathes modern Instagram/TikTok aesthetics, understands how to build a mood, and knows exactly how to pace a video to trending audio. The Project: Your mission is to create high-impact, short-form promotional videos (10-15 seconds) that sell the "vibe" of our LUTs. What you will be doing: Before & After Hooks: Crafting seamless split-screen or hard-cut transition videos showing raw, unedited footage snapping into our cinematic grades (Cold & Moody, Faded Warmth, Bright & Rich). Footage Sourcing: Utilizing high-quality, cinematic camera shots (moody street photography, aesthetic lifestyle, beach/travel vlogs). You can use your own raw footage or source premium stock. Audio Syncing: Syncing transitions perfectly to trending, atmospheric, or heavy-bass music to maximize watch time and impulse buys. Software: Working inside CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve to apply our .cube files and finalize the edits. What we are looking for: A portfolio consisting of Reels/Shorts that highlight color grading, visual storytelling, and high-end aesthetics. A deep understanding of visual pacing—you know exactly where the beat drops and how to make a transition hit hard. Minimalist text animation skills (e.g., adding clean "1-Click Cinematic Grades" overlays). How to Apply: Don't send a traditional resume.
