Freelance Video Editor

Hey all – I’m looking to work with a freelance video editor (not an agency). This year I’ll be creating: ∙ Long-form YouTube videos (live résumé upgrade sessions) ∙ Short-form clips for YouTube Shorts/socials I’ve started using Descript and I’m specifically looking for someone who: ∙ Actively works with Descript ∙ Has a socials background (not ads or commercials) ∙ Can either edit for me or teach me how to get the outcome I'm looking for This freelance work role is not suited to: ∙ Over-produced, glossy, “agency” style edits ∙ Snazzy transitions, stock b-roll, cinematic fluff ∙ High-ticket, “done-for-you” or AI content packages The overall style I'm targeting is practical, unpolished, and authentic, reflecting how my résumé sessions are delivered.
