Role Description: This is a full-time on-site role based in Manchester for a Frontend Developer. As our Web App moves through its Beta phase toward a massive public launch, you will focus on designing and implementing user-facing features across our diverse platform modules (including Tasks, AI-powered Study Groups, and Student Marketplace). Day-to-day tasks involve collaborating with the design and back-end teams, optimizing the web application for peak performance across the wide variety of devices students use, and ensuring our gamified point economy feels intuitive and engaging. You will play a key role in bringing innovative, community-first ideas to life through advanced frontend technologies. Qualifications: Expertise in Front-End Development and crafting highly Responsive Web Designs. Strong understanding of modern Web Development principles, practices, and accessibility standards. Experience with seamlessly integrating front-end features with complex Back-End APIs. Proficiency in modern Software Development tools, version control, and agile methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills to maintain a smooth user experience. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented startup environment. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
