Graphic Designer

The Chicago Jewish Alliance is looking for a part-time Graphic Designer to help visually power a growing, mission-driven organization. This is not just a design role. We are looking for someone who deeply believes in our mission, understands the moment we’re in, and wants to use their creative skills to make real impact in the Jewish community and beyond. About the Role You’ll work closely with our team to create strong, clean, modern visuals that support our advocacy, events, campaigns, and digital presence. This role is ideal for someone who is creative, reliable, fast, and proud of their work. Responsibilities - Design graphics for social media, events, campaigns, and digital content - Work primarily in Canva (advanced proficiency required) - Collaborate on branding, messaging, and visual storytelling - Execute projects independently with polish and attention to detail What We’re Looking For - Strong Canva skills (this is essential) - Excellent design taste and a clean, modern aesthetic - Ability to meet deadlines and manage projects independently - Someone who genuinely believes in the mission of the Chicago Jewish Alliance and wants to be part of the work, not just complete tasks Compensation & Structure - Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week - $20–$30 per hour, depending on skill, experience, and speed - Can be hourly or per-project, depending on preference - Opportunity to grow into a full-time position for the right person If you care about meaningful work, want your designs to matter, and are excited to contribute to a fast-growing organization with real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
