Hindi-English Translator

🔄 #TranslateAtDAI “Translation is that which transforms everything so that nothing changes.” We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hindi to English #Translator to support a qualitative research project in Bihar, India. The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately translate #Hindi transcripts from in-depth interviews and qualitative surveys into clear, coherent, and contextually appropriate #English. Applicants should have a strong command of both Hindi and English, along with experience translating conversational, field-based content. Familiarity with regional dialects spoken in #Bihar (such as Bhojpuri, Maithili, or Magahi) will be an added advantage. The candidate should be able to capture not only the literal meaning but also the tone, nuance, and cultural context of respondents’ narratives. This is a #Remote position.
