We're looking for a Hospitality Recruiter based in South Africa!
Working Hours: 9AM - 5PM (Mon-Fri) EST
About the Company:
Our client is a ~50-person recruiting firm specializing in hospitality hiring, primarily supporting hotels and restaurants with store-level talent acquisition.
The company operates a distributed, remote-first model, with a growing offshore team (notably in South Africa) and a strong emphasis on scaling through process, technology, and high-volume recruiting workflows.
About the Role:Β
The Hospitality Recruiter is responsible for end-to-end candidate management for high-volume hospitality roles (e.g., hotel and restaurant staff). This is a candidate-facing role, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple requisitions efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, screen, and manage candidates for hospitality roles
- Conduct candidate outreach and initial screening conversations
- Guide candidates through the hiring process
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in JobAdder (or similar ATS)
- Communicate consistently via Slack and email with internal team members
- Manage multiple open roles simultaneously in a high-volume environment
- Ensure a professional and positive candidate experience
Requirements:
- Prior recruiting experience in hospitality is non-negotiable
- Strong spoken and written English (clear, professional communication)
- Experience using an ATS (JobAdder preferred, but not required)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Must be consistently available and responsive during working hours
Performance Expectations:
- Manage multiple open roles at once
- Maintain consistent pipeline activity
- Deliver placements aligned with company targets (e.g., monthly hires)
