HTML Email Designer

Our client is seeking a Contract HTML Email Designer (On-Call / Backup) to assist their internal email design team. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals who specialize in HTML for email and prefer flexible, project-based work. The position will provide coverage during short-term needs or planned absences. Key Responsibilities: - Update and produce email newsletters using existing HTML templates. - Modify content, images, and layouts while adhering to design standards. - Design and build custom HTML emails for campaign-specific sends. - Ensure emails render correctly across major clients, including Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, and mobile devices. - Test and optimize emails for consistency across clients and devices. Qualifications: - Strong experience coding HTML specifically for email. - Deep understanding of email client rendering quirks. - Experience working within templates and building responsive emails from scratch. - Ability to manage short turnaround times when coverage is needed. - Strong communication skills and responsiveness.
