Seeking Senior Industrial Designer for Project-Based Wellness Hardware Development I am looking to collaborate with an experienced Industrial Designer for a short-term, milestone-based project. We are in the development phase of a specialized hydro-therapy device that integrates fluid immersion with controlled airflow systems. This project requires a designer who prioritizes functional ergonomics and is well-versed in preparing products for commercial manufacturing and intellectual property protection. Scope of Work: Design Evolution: Transitioning current conceptual sketches into a refined, "significantly distinguishable" industrial design. Technical Modeling: Delivery of manufacturing-ready 3D CAD files (SolidWorks or Fusion 360). IP Preparation: Providing the standardized 7-view representation sheets required for an Indian Design Registration filing. Manufacturing Readiness: Ensuring the design adheres to DFM (Design for Manufacturing) principles for high-quality production. Candidate Profile: 5+ years of experience in hardware or medical device design. A portfolio demonstrating products that have successfully moved from CAD to mass production. Strong understanding of material science (specifically polymers and medical-grade silicones). Ability to work within a structured, confidential development environment. Logistics: Terms: Fixed-fee, project-based contract. Location: Remote (India). Candidates in Hyderabad, Pune, or Bengaluru are preferred for proximity to prototyping hubs.
