iOS Engineer (Swift Developer) – Summary This is a mid-level, hands-on iOS Engineer role focused on building and enhancing features within a production mobile app. The engineer will join an established cross-platform mobile team (iOS and Android), reporting to an Engineering Manager. Project Overview The role involves both improving existing app functionality and developing new greenfield features. The team follows modern iOS architecture practices, primarily MVVM and Coordinator-based patterns, ensuring scalable feature and navigation management. The tech stack emphasizes modern iOS development, including Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Core Data, and modern concurrency (async/await). Preference is given to candidates experienced with current best practices rather than legacy-only UIKit development. Key Responsibilities Build, maintain, and enhance iOS app features Develop intuitive UI for complex data input and visualization Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and QA teams Write clean, testable, and maintainable code Own small-to-medium features end-to-end within sprint cycles Contribute to process and tooling improvements Required Experience 3+ years with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit Experience with REST APIs (GraphQL is a plus) CI/CD, XCTest, and Swift Package Manager Strong understanding of MVVM and navigation patterns Familiarity with modern Swift concurrency (async/await) Experience in Agile/SCRUM environments Hands-on unit testing as part of regular workflow Cross-platform exposure (e.g., Kotlin Multiplatform) and integration with shared layers is beneficial.
