Japanese-Indonesian Interpreter

Japanese Interpreter (JLPT N2) Cikarang, Indonesia Our client, a Japanese automotive wire harness manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Japanese Interpreter to support communication between Japanese management and local employees. Key Responsibilities: - Provide oral interpretation (Japanese-Indonesian / Indonesian-Japanese) during meetings, briefings, trainings, audits, and daily operational activities. - Translate written documents (Japanese-Indonesian / Indonesian-Japanese) such as emails, reports, SOPs, work instructions, and other official documents. - Ensure accuracy and maintain confidentiality of all interpreted and translated information. - Support effective communication between Japanese management and local employees to prevent misunderstandings. - Assist in explaining Japanese workplace culture and context to local employees (and vice versa). Requirements: - Minimum JLPT N2 certification. - At least 4–10 years of experience in a Japanese automotive manufacturing company, with daily use of Japanese (e.g., interpreter or Japanese-speaking roles). - Available to join immediately (ASAP) in Late-March or Early-April 2026. - Strong interpretation and translation skills. - Good understanding of Japanese workplace culture. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
