🎮 Game Localization Specialist (KR → JP) Hiring Now! 🔥 We’re looking for a top-tier Korean-to-Japanese game localization expert to join our global gaming team!If you’re passionate about games, master both languages, and live for high-quality localization — this role is for you! ✨ Key Responsibilities 🗣️ Translation & Adaptation: Translate and adapt game text, UI, scripts, marketing materials, and all related content from Korean to Japanese while preserving original meaning, tone, humor, and creative style. 🔍 Review & Editing: Review and edit localized content to ensure accuracy, fluency, consistency, and strict adherence to style guides and glossaries. 🎯 Localization Quality Assurance (LQA): Perform in-game linguistic & cultural testing; identify errors, cultural issues, and functional bugs; conduct regression testing after fixes. 📚 Terminology Management: Create, maintain, and update glossaries, style guides, and translation memories to ensure consistency across all projects. 🌍 Culturalization: Ensure content is culturally appropriate and resonates with Japanese players; provide cultural and linguistic insights to the development team. 🤝 Collaboration: Work closely with developers, PMs, and other linguists to resolve localization issues and maintain smooth workflows. 🛠️ Tool Proficiency: Proficient in CAT tools (memoQ, Trados Studio), bug tracking software (Jira), and terminology management systems. 🎙️ Audio Localization Support: Support script adaptation, voice-over feedback, and linguistic QA for recorded audio assets. 🚀 Process & AI Innovation: Contribute to improving localization workflows and evaluating AI-powered localization tools. 🎯 Qualifications Native proficiency in Japanese + professional/near-native proficiency in Korean. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages. 3+ years of proven experience in game localization, translation, or related fields. Deep understanding of gaming culture, genres, and player expectations.
