Hiring: Lead DevOps – Contour Software, Karachi Pakistan 🔹 Position: Lead DevOps 📍 Location: Karachi, Pakistan 🚀 About the Role: Full‑time | Leadership role We’re looking for an experienced Lead DevOps / Automation Architect to join Contour Software in Karachi and play a key role in modernizing and scaling our build, release, and deployment processes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys leading small, high‑impact teams, owning DevOps strategy, and driving automation at scale—starting with a mature .NET desktop ecosystem and evolving toward a cloud‑native SaaS architecture over time. 🔧Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of 3–5 DevOps/automation engineers; set standards, best practices, and documentation. Own automation architecture and overall DevOps strategy; partner with Engineering, QA, Product, and Compliance/Security. Design and optimize end‑to‑end build, packaging, installer, and deployment automation for a mature .NET desktop ecosystem. Consolidate fragmented/manual build workflows; automate app builds, installers, DB components, and environment setup. Own and improve CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible); assess tooling and recommend upgrades/replacements. Establish repeatable, auditable release processes and ensure security/compliance aligned with PCI DSS. Provide DevOps inputs to planning, release schedules, and production readiness; support the transition toward cloud‑native SaaS and future-state architecture.  🎯 Required Skills & Experience: Strong CI/CD design/implementation; hands‑on Jenkins/Ansible and automation scripting. Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/ARM/CloudFormation) + strong scripting (PowerShell/Python/Bash). Solid .NET build/packaging expertise, including desktop installer automation. Experience with database-driven apps (UniVerse a plus) and integrating SCM + build + test + deploy pipelines. Strong release management and environment consistency; modern DevOps tooling knowledge.
