We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Performance & Capacity Management professional with strong expertise in CICS, DB2, MQ, and Tivoli/ITM tools to join our highly skilled technical team.
🔧 Position Overview
This role involves working with advanced technical concepts, troubleshooting complex enterprise systems, and delivering innovative solutions that have organization-wide impact. You’ll collaborate with highly experienced engineers while supporting mission-critical mainframe environments.
Key Skills Required
Strong knowledge of Mainframe environments (CICS, DB2, MQ, ITM products)
Expertise in performance, demand, and capacity management
Experience with Tivoli Enterprise tools, Omegamon/Omegaview, ITCAMs, Introscope, Dynatrace
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in mainframe demand, capacity, and performance management
2+ years of experience with Tivoli Enterprise tools, DB2, and CICS region management
Experience integrating and implementing technologies with enterprise-wide impact
Proven experience managing major projects end-to-end
Strong passion for continuous improvement and customer experience
Responsibilities
Analyze and debug CICS, DB2, WebSphere MQ, and WAS performance issues
Monitor and support 700+ CICS regions across production, training, and integration environments
Perform CICS system dump analysis and provide recommendations
Troubleshoot DB2, Oracle, IDMS, and underlying z/OS, JES3, Top Secret issues
Monitor systems using TEPS, Omegamon, CICSplex, ABEND Aid, and other tools
Respond to Hot Terminal, SSA alerts, and incident emails
Document incidents and resolutions in internal systems (Greenbook, CAPRS)
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation as required
