We are looking for a talented Mandarin Translator to support our creative content projects, including films, videos, and micro dramas. If you are passionate about storytelling, media, and entertainment, this opportunity is for you!
📌 Position: Mandarin Translator – Film, Video & Micro Drama (Project)
📍 Work Arrangement: Project-based / Freelance
🔎 Responsibilities:
- Translate scripts, subtitles, and production materials from Mandarin to English/Bahasa (and vice versa).
- Adapt translations to match context, tone, and cultural nuances in film and video content.
- Ensure subtitle accuracy, timing, and readability.
- Work closely with the content, production, and creative teams.
- Maintain confidentiality of project and intellectual property.
- Meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
🔍 Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mandarin, Linguistics, Translation, Film, Media, or a related field.
- Proven experience in translating films, videos, dramas, or digital content.
- Excellent Mandarin and English proficiency (spoken and written).
- Strong understanding of cultural nuances and storytelling.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
⭐ Preferred:
- Experience in subtitle translation or audiovisual localization.
- Familiar with subtitle tools and video editing platforms.
- Passion for entertainment, digital content, and micro drama trends.
