Mechanical Designer

We're Hiring! — Contract Mechanical Designer | Point 6 LLC Point 6 is growing, and we're looking for a talented mechanical designer to join us on a contract basis (20–30 hrs/week). If you live and breathe high-performance building science — PHPP, heat pumps, balanced ventilation, Passive House — this one's for you. What you'll do: Design mechanical ventilation and HVAC systems for Passive House and high-performance residential projects Produce construction-ready drawings and specs Work remotely and flexibly as an independent contractor What we're looking for: 3+ years of mechanical design experience PHPP proficiency (non-negotiable) Passive House knowledge and a self-directed work style The details: $50–75/hr DOE + performance incentives 90-day pilot with strong potential for ongoing work Remote / flexible schedule We're a small, focused building science firm based in Colorado doing work we're proud of.
