Multilingual Interpreter

Piedmont Global is expanding our roster of freelance interpreters in the Washington DC metro area for onsite, video (VRI), and telephonic (OPI) assignments. We welcome interpreters for all languages, with a high demand for: - Spanish - ASL - Arabic - Albanian - French - Khmer - Korean - Mandarin - Vietnamese Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States (U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents). Minimum requirements include: - 2+ years of interpreting experience - 2 professional references (or 1 reference + 1 letter) - Proficiency in English and the target language - Residency in or near the Washington DC metro area - A valid government-issued ID Medical interpreter training (40-hour certification) is a plus.
