We're reaching out to our community to help thoughtfully amplify a documentary that centers the voices, lands, and waters affected by the global mining industry.
π Language for Justice βοΈ is seeking experienced SDH (Subtitles for the d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing) captioners in German, Serbian, and Aymara for this important project. We approach this work with care, recognizing that true accessibility honors linguistic sovereignty, cultural context, and the diverse identities within PwD communities. Our goal is to ensure the documentary's message is shared with depth, respect, and full access.
We will provide English SDH templates as a supportive starting point for collaboration.
At this time, we are specifically looking for seasoned SDH professionals in these three languages. To help us connect, we ask that only those with direct experience in German, Serbian, or Aymara SDH reach out regarding this role.
