Multilingual Technical Translator

We are hiring | Technical Translator (Chinese(Mandarin) / English / Russian) Location: Baku, Azerbaijan Company: Azerbaijan Metal Company LLC (AzMC) Azerbaijan Metal Company LLC is strengthening its project team and invites applications for the position of Technical Translator with proven expertise in Chinese (Mandarin), English, and Russian, covering both written translation and verbal interpretation (consecutive and simultaneous). This role is critical to supporting the design, construction, commissioning, and start-up phases of a large-scale industrial project in the ironmaking sector (HBI). Key responsibilities: • Translation of highly technical engineering documentation, including PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications, vendor manuals, and contracts • Simultaneous and consecutive interpretation during technical meetings, design workshops, site activities, and training sessions • Accurate use, development, and management of specialized engineering, and HBI terminology • Close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams • Ensuring strict confidentiality, accuracy, and adherence to project deadlines Key requirements: • Full professional fluency in Chinese (Mandarin), English, and Russian (written and spoken) • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical translation and interpretation • Experience in heavy industry, oil & gas, or metallurgy is a strong advantage • Proven ability to perform simultaneous interpretation in technical environments • High attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work effectively How to apply: Interested candidates are invited to send their CV to [Upgrade to PRO to see contact], indicating “Technical Translator - CN/EN/RU” in the subject line.
