Multilingual Technical Translator

Rahmanov Partners is #hiring Position: Technical Translator / Interpreter (English – Russian – Uzbek) Key Responsibilities - Translate technical, engineering, environmental, and project-related documents from English into Russian and Uzbek - Provide oral interpretation from English into Russian and Uzbek during meetings, workshops, technical discussions, and site visits - Ensure accuracy, consistency, and correct use of technical terminology in written translations and oral interpretation - Translate project documentation including feasibility studies, technical reports, environmental and social assessment documents, training materials, contracts, and official correspondence - Perform editing, proofreading, and quality control of translated documents - Provide consecutive or simultaneous interpretation during meetings between international experts, consultants, government representatives, and project stakeholders - Maintain consistent technical terminology across project documents - Coordinate with technical experts, engineers, and consultants to clarify terminology and technical concepts - Ensure translated materials preserve the meaning, context, and technical accuracy of the original documents - Deliver translation assignments within agreed timelines - Support preparation and review of bilingual or trilingual project documents and presentations Position Requirements - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Technical Sciences, Engineering, Environmental Science, Natural Sciences, or another related technical field - IELTS score of at least 7.5 or equivalent internationally recognized English language certificate - Fluent professional proficiency in English, Russian, and Uzbek - Minimum 5 years of professional experience in technical translation and interpretation - Demonstrated experience translating technical reports, engineering documentation, feasibility studies, and environmental and social assessment documents - Proven experience providing interpretation during technical meetings, workshops, or project discussions - Experience working with international organizations, development projects, or consulting companies is an advantage - Strong knowledge of technical terminology related to engineering, infrastructure, environmental management, and scientific documentation - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Russian and Uzbek - Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy and consistency in translation and interpretation - Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle large volumes of technical documentation - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Experience using translation software or terminology management tools is an advantage contact: [Upgrade to PRO to see contact] [Upgrade to PRO to see contact]
