Multilingual Trainer & Role Model (Tigrinya/Dutch/English) – Amsterdam Are you a facilitator who can inspire young newcomers to take charge of their future? The Portfolio Training project is looking for a trainer to lead workshops for young asylum seekers (18–26) at AZCs in Amsterdam. The project is seeking a multilingual trainer who can bridge the gap between the participants' backgrounds and their new lives in the Netherlands. The Role: Lead a curriculum that moves from self-reflection and identity to practical tools like CV building and navigating the Dutch education system. You will serve as a mentor and guide, helping participants translate their potential into a Dutch context. Mandatory Requirements: Trilingual Skills: Fluency in Tigrinya, Dutch, AND English is required. Current Status: You are a professional looking for a meaningful part-time freelance (ZZP) opportunity to complement your current work. Lived Experience: Ideally, you have personally navigated the asylum process in the Netherlands, providing you with the unique insight needed to act as a relatable role model. Professionalism: Proven experience in training, coaching, or group facilitation. Preferred Skills: Proficiency in Arabic is highly preferred.
