Mercor is collaborating with a leading AI lab on a large-scale initiative to improve transportation systems reasoning, infrastructure analysis, and logistics planning capabilities in advanced AI models. We are seeking experienced transportation professionals to create and evaluate high-quality, domain-specific prompts and responses.
This is a multilingual opportunity. We are specifically looking for experts professionally active in one or more of the following languages:
Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, German, Arabic, Thai, Tamil, or Hindi.
Translation ability alone is not sufficient. Candidates must have real-world professional experience within their transportation ecosystem, including familiarity with local transit systems, infrastructure standards, regulatory frameworks, safety requirements, and operational norms.
Key Responsibilities
Author realistic prompts across urban transit planning, traffic engineering, rail, aviation, maritime logistics, supply chain coordination, and infrastructure development
Review and refine AI-generated responses for technical accuracy, feasibility, regulatory compliance, and clarity
Produce high-quality βgold standardβ responses for complex transportation scenarios
Create controlled prompt variations testing regulatory differences, geographic constraints, demand modeling, safety protocols, and system design assumptions
Evaluate outputs across technical, policy-oriented, operational, and explanatory tones
Identify model failure cases such as unrealistic infrastructure proposals, flawed logistical reasoning, regulatory misinterpretation, or safety oversights
Ideal Qualifications
Degree in Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
2+ years of professional experience in transportation planning, infrastructure development, logistics operations, traffic engineering, or transit systems
Active familiarity with transportation systems in at least one of the listed language ecosystems
Strong understanding of local infrastructure standards and safety regulations
Excellent analytical and written communication skills
Systems-oriented thinking and strong editorial judgment
