Network Engineer

Freelance Network Engineer (Medior–Senior) | Brussels / Hybrid We are looking for a Network Engineer to join a high-impact infrastructure team in a financial services environment. You will work on the design, implementation, and optimization of complex enterprise networks, contributing to long-term modernization projects while ensuring high availability, security, and performance. What you’ll do: Design and operate enterprise network infrastructures (LAN/WAN, routing & switching, firewalls) Support strategic infrastructure projects and cloud/hybrid integrations Act as a technical reference and mentor for junior engineers Collaborate with architecture and security teams Your profile: Strong experience in network engineering (medior or senior level) Solid knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, and network security Familiar with cloud and hybrid networking (Azure/AWS is a plus) Comfortable in English; Dutch and/or French is an asset 📍 Location: Brussels area 🏠 Hybrid work model (approx. 50% remote) 🚀 Start: ASAP | Long-term opportunity Interested?
