🚨 Urgent Hiring: Oracle Database Administrator (Onsite – Albany, NY) 🚨 We have an immediate long-term contract opportunity for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator in Albany (Onsite role). 📍 Location: Albany, NY (Onsite) 📄 Duration: Long-Term Contract 🏢 Client Environment: Enterprise / Government Program 🔎 Mandatory Qualifications: 7+ years of experience working on complex projects 2+ years in a leadership role as a Specialist 7+ years of database administration & support experience Installation of database software Applying Patch Set Updates Working with disk storage 2–5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle 12c or later Installation & administration Patch Set Updates Experience with PostgreSQL ⭐ Desirable Qualifications: 5+ years of Oracle database administration (including ASM disk storage) Experience with replication, backup & recovery strategies (RTO/RPO) Database performance tuning (memory structures, SQL queries) Experience enforcing database security standards (HIPAA, SOX compliance) Microsoft SQL Server administration experience High Availability solutions & client connectivity configuration Experience with OLTP, OLAP & high-volume transaction systems 🛠 Key Responsibilities: Database management, support & maintenance Database design, enhancement & performance tuning Capacity planning (storage, CPU, memory, network) Backup & recovery management Provide architectural DBA support using ITIL methodologies Documentation of installations & implementations Troubleshooting technical issues Support new technology initiatives If you are interested or know someone who would be a great fit, please share updated resumes at: 📧 [Upgrade to PRO to see contact]
