Your expertise will shape the future of public services and drive meaningful change across municipal operations.
Required Skills
Prior public sector experience, especially leading large-scale transformation programs involving customer experience, 311 services, or city council-driven initiatives.
Minimum of 10+ years of Program Leadership and/or Senior Project Management experience, with a proven track record managing complex IT programs that deliver strategic objectives.
At least 5+ years of hands-on experience leading application development projects from initiation through to successful closure.
Demonstrated ability to develop, monitor, and control project portfolios, schedules, budgets, and dependencies.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives and community partners.
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, such as PMP principles, with a focus on planning, risk management, and resource allocation.
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across matrix organizations, motivating teams and managing project interdependencies.
Nice to Have Skills
Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments, fostering collaboration and flexibility.
Familiarity with procurement processes, vendor management, and contract development (RFx, vendor contracts, MOUs).
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelorβs degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
PMP certification is required; additional certifications such as ITIL, Practitioner, or Advanced ITIL are advantageous.
Extensive experience managing enterprise-level IT projects, including data, infrastructure, and application development within complex environments.
Other Requirements
Hybrid work model comprising three days onsite in downtown Toronto & two days remote, with Mondays and Wednesdays as anchor days.
Hourly Pay Rate Range: $105-125 hr (incorporated)
