This hybrid role will focus on project execution, requirements gathering, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring the Alation implementation aligns with business and data governance objectives. 🔧 Key Responsibilities 📊 Project Management ✔ Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and milestones for the Alation implementation ✔ Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, data governance, business units, and vendors ✔ Monitor project progress, risks, and issues, implementing mitigation strategies ✔ Facilitate status meetings and stakeholder updates ✔ Maintain project documentation, change requests, and action items ✔ Ensure adherence to scope, budget, and quality standards 📈 Business Analysis ✔ Gather and document business and functional requirements ✔ Translate business needs into technical and functional specifications ✔ Perform gap analysis to identify process improvements ✔ Work with data stewards and SMEs on metadata, lineage, and governance requirements ✔ Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including test cases and issue resolution ✔ Develop training materials and user documentation 🤝 Stakeholder Management ✔ Act as the primary liaison between business users, technical teams, and vendors ✔ Communicate project goals, progress, and changes clearly ✔ Prepare dashboards, reports, and executive presentations ✔ Promote collaboration and continuous improvement 🎓 Qualifications ✔ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field ✔ 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis or Project Management ✔ Experience managing enterprise software implementations ✔ Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data catalog platforms ✔ Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills ✔ Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or MS Project ⭐ Preferred: • Experience with Alation • Certifications such as PMP or CBAP 📩 Interested candidates please share your updated resume: [Upgrade to PRO to see contact] #NowHiring #ProjectManager #BusinessAnalyst #DataGovernance #Alation #DataCatalog #NYCJobs #HybridJobs #TechHiring #ITJobs #DataManagement #EnterpriseProjects
