My client focuses on specialized utility construction, water/sewer work, and earthmoving specific to Civil Highway Construction with other contractors on multi-disciplinary heavy civil projects, overseeing the entire lifecycle of complex infrastructure work, from initial bidding to final closeout.  Who are your clients: Their clients are State Departments that touch highway and street construction along with municipalities. What you will be doing: The ability to interpret plans, contract documents, and specifications with the ability to negotiate an amicable solution for both owner and contractor when conflicts arise. Build schedules, site preparation, managing day-to-day productions, coordinate material deliveries, resulting in timely completion. Verify bid quantities prior to bid to find discrepancies and/or advantages. Manage multiple subcontractors for various projects and ensure timely notification and performance by each. Create timely monthly payouts comparing contractors’ quantity vs engineers and staying current with discrepancies.
