Job Summary
We are looking for a sharp Python Developer to join our team and build on the Frappe/ERPNext platform. You will customise ERPNext modules, build integrations, write clean Python, and become the go-to person for our ERP stack. Must have strong Python fundamentals, solid web basics, comfort with accounting concepts, and the curiosity to own an opinionated framework.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesDevelop, customise and extend Frappe apps & ERPNext modules – Custom DocTypes, Server Scripts, Client Scripts, Hooks, WorkflowsWrite clean, maintainable Python across Frappe MVC – controllers, scheduled tasks, REST API endpointsIntegrate ERPNext with third-party systems – payment gateways, logistics, e-commerce via REST/JSON APIsTranslate business & accounting requirements into technical implementations with Finance/Ops teamsDebug, profile and optimise slow queries + background jobs on MariaDB-backed Frappe deploymentsMaintain code quality through peer reviews, unit tests, clear documentationParticipate in sprint planning, standups, CI/CD practices
QualificationsExperience: 4-6 years relevant experienceEducation: B.E./B.Tech, B.Sc, M.Sc, MCA or equivalent
Mandatory Technical SkillsFrappe Framework or ERPNext – hands-on experiencePython: OOP, decorators, list comprehensions, idiomatic PythonWeb Stack: HTML, CSS, JavaScript ES6+, REST, HTTPDatabase: Writing & debugging SQL, query optimisation fundamentalsLinux: Deploying Python applicationsTools: Git – branching, rebasing, PRs, code reviews | Jinja2 templatingERP Concepts: Multi-tenant or multi-company setupsDebugging: Ability to read unfamiliar framework code, trace bugs across layers
Good to HaveBackground job queuing – Redis/RQ, used by FrappeDomain exp in accounting, fintech, or enterprise software
