QA Automation Engineer

Looking for strong local candidates with a mix of automation and manual testing expertise. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated test suites using JavaScript-based tools (Cypress, MABL) and BDD frameworks (Cucumber) Create end-to-end, integration, and unit tests for web applications Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing Perform API and performance testing for backend services Conduct cross-browser, responsive, and accessibility testing Implement automated accessibility checks aligned with WCAG guidelines Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate on resolutions Maintain test documentation and participate in code reviews Evaluate and implement new testing tools and methodologies Monitor test metrics and improve testing efficiency Mentor junior team members in automation and accessibility testing Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement Required Skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern frameworks Experience with Cypress, MABL, or similar automation tools Solid SQL skills with complex query writing and database testing Strong understanding of DOM, HTML, and CSS Experience with TDD/BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Jest) Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) API testing experience (Postman, Axios) Knowledge of performance testing concepts Experience with accessibility testing tools and WCAG standards Familiarity with JIRA, TestRail, or similar tools Strong analytical and communication skills Nice to Have: Experience mentoring QA teams Exposure to advanced automation frameworks Strong understanding of Agile environments If you are a local candidate in Miami and open to hybrid work, please share your resume.
