QA Automation Tester

Hi All, Title: Sr QA Automation Tester Location: Chandler, AZ-Onsite (only on W2) Job Description : This role requires a strong, senior-level QA Automation Tester with deep expertise in API automation, BDD-based frameworks, and independent test design ownership. The Senior QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, IT design documents, Swagger/OpenAPI specifications, and API workflows to identify test requirements and build a robust, scalable automation testbed. This role demands out-of-the-box thinking, strong attention to detail, and the ability to proactively identify complex, edge, and failure scenarios beyond standard happy-path testing. The role requires out-of-the-box thinking, strong ownership of test scenarios and test data, and the ability to independently absorb API functionality and translate it into functional, regression, and negative automation coverage Primary Skills Strong QA Automation, API Automation Testing, Cucumber (BDD), Rest Assured, Test Design & Strategy, Regression & Functional Testing Required Skills • Senior-level experience specializing in Software Quality Assurance Testing, with a strong emphasis on hands-on, automation-first testing • Expertise in API Automation Testing using Cucumber with Rest Assured, BDD-based frameworks, Maven, Git, and Jenkins • Strong experience in API testing, both manual and automated, using Postman and Rest Assured • Proven ability to analyze business requirements, IT design documents, API contracts, and Swagger/OpenAPI specifications to derive complete test requirements • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining a robust automation testbed incorporating functional, regression, negative, boundary, and edge-case scenarios • Ability to work independently as a senior automation tester, quickly understanding API functionality and backend flows with minimal guidance • Hands-on experience implementing automation testing, functional testing, and regression testing across multiple environments • Strong understanding of HTTP methods, request/response validation, error handling, and data integrity checks • Ability to think beyond documented requirements and proactively identify risk areas and production-impacting defects • Experience working in Agile enterprise environments, actively participating in sprint planning, grooming, and QA sign-off activities  Please share the relevant profile to : [Upgrade to PRO to see contact]
