QA Automation Tester

Hybrid Position(2 Days onsite) WE NEED ONLY Local to Michigan Only : #W2 Role: QA Automation Tester Hybrid Position Lansing, MI(2 Days hybrid Position) Accepting local candidates within 90 minutes of Lansing, MI ONLY. Position will be hybrid, in office 2 days a week upon start and there is NO REMOTE ONLY option. Responsibilities: Must Have senior level (5+ years) experience and proficiency in the following: Designing and executing manual and automated test cases. Understanding of the secure application development lifecycle (SADLC). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, agile development environment. Understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes (Quality Assurance, User Acceptance, System Integration, Accessibility, Performance, Regression, Post Deployment Validation, Data Conversion). Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design test cases. Java and JavaScript Issue tracking and defect management. Generating and documenting test plans and strategies. Generating testing reports and metrics. API testing and tools like Postman, Rest Client and others. Writing SQL, P-SQL queries. Generating and acquiring test data. Ability to work in person in downtown Lansing 2 days a week. Build environments {DEV, UAT, QAT, PRE-PROD} specific test suites with integrated application life cycle management. Nice to Have: Experience with industry standard automated testing tools and frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Provar, Katalon, etc.). Experience using Azure DevOps Testing Module. Experience with Mobile App testing of iOS and Android applications. Knowledge of performance and load testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
