QA Engineer

QA Engineer (Mobile-First Product) Location - Bengaluru ( Remote ) Exp Range - 5 - 10 Years Working on a mandate with a US-based fintech building out their India engineering team. Looking for Senior QA / SDET Engineers — but not profiles that are limited to test execution. This role sits much closer to engineering than traditional QA. You’ll be: Working on a mobile-first product (iOS / Android) Owning quality across features, not just validating them Contributing to test frameworks, automation patterns, and CI/CD quality gates Partnering closely with engineering to improve release quality and velocity What we’re looking for: Strong experience testing mobile applications end-to-end (not just web) Solid hands-on with automation frameworks (Appium / Espresso / XCUITest / Playwright / etc.) Experience building or significantly contributing to test frameworks / QA platforms Ability to translate manual test scenarios into scalable automation Comfortable working in a distributed team (India–US overlap) What won’t work here: Pure manual QA profiles Automation testers who only execute scripts without understanding systems Candidates without mobile depth What matters: Can you take a feature, understand how it behaves in the real world, and ensure it is tested, automated, and production-ready?
