QA Engineer

Title: Senior QA Engineer (Oracle / PL-SQL) – AI Augmented Location: Remote Duration: 6+ Months Contract   JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in Oracle and PL/SQL testing, along with experience leveraging AI-assisted tools for test automation and debugging. This is a hands-on role requiring both manual and automation testing capabilities in data-driven environments. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with database structures, data pipelines, and integration testing, and should be highly efficient using modern AI tools like Copilot, Claude Code, or similar to accelerate QA workflows.   Key Responsibilities: Perform manual and automated testing for Oracle-based applications and PL/SQL pipelines Design, develop, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and automation frameworks Validate data integrity, ETL processes, and database transformations Create and execute integration and end-to-end testing for data pipelines Utilize AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude Code) to enhance test creation, debugging, and productivity Work closely with development teams to ensure high-quality releases Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines Perform root cause analysis and fast debugging in complex data environments   Required Skills: Strong experience with Oracle and PL/SQL testing Hands-on experience in manual and automation QA Experience testing data pipelines, ETL workflows, and database systems Familiarity with CI/CD tools and integration testing Experience with AI-assisted development/testing tools (Copilot, Claude, etc.) Strong debugging and analytical skills   Nice to Have: Experience with AI-augmented QA workflows Exposure to modern data engineering environments Knowledge of performance testing for database systems
