This role sits within a canning/processed food environment and requires a hands-on quality professional with strong presence on site. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a flexible contract initially, with increased involvement later in the year. Key Responsibilities - Oversee and manage site quality assurance activities - Lead and support a small QA team (2 direct reports) - Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards - Maintain and improve systems aligned with BRC/IFS - Act as key contact for audits and internal stakeholders - Bring energy and engagement to the team environment Ideal Profile -Experience in food manufacturing QA, ideally within canning or preserved foods -Strong understanding of microbiology and food safety -Knowledge of BRC and/or IFS standards -Confident, extroverted personality with strong communication skills -Hands-on approach with ability to lead a small team effectively If you’re available and interested, feel free to apply with your CV or share with your network.
