QA Tester

🚀Part-Time QA Tester (EdTech Project) Knight Corporate Services Ltd is recruiting on behalf of an innovative EdTech company for a skilled QA Tester to support the delivery of a Digital Training Platform (MVP). This is a short-term, project-based role ideal for a detail-oriented QA professional with experience testing mobile applications, particularly in fast-paced, Agile development environments. 🔹 Job Title QA Tester (Part-Time | 0.5 FTE) 🔹 Project Digital Training Platform – MVP 🔹 Engagement Duration 6 weeks (26 December 2025 – 5 February 2026) 🔹 Work Commitment Flexible workload ranging from 8 to 32 hours per week, with testing intensity increasing as the project progresses (peak period: Weeks 4–5) 🔹 Location Remote (Candidate must own an Android device – Android 8.0 or higher – for testing purposes) 🔹 Compensation ₦200,000 (total for the 6-week engagement) 🧩 Role Overview The QA Tester will be responsible for ensuring the Digital Training Platform MVP meets defined quality, performance, and usability standards. The role involves comprehensive functional testing, offline and integration testing, detailed bug documentation, and close collaboration with developers to ensure timely issue resolution. As more features are delivered, the QA Tester’s involvement will increase, culminating in final validation and demo readiness ahead of stakeholder presentation. 🎯 Requirements Essential Minimum of 2 years’ experience testing mobile applications (Android and/or iOS) Strong understanding of QA methodologies and software testing processes Proven ability to write clear, detailed, and actionable bug reports Familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira, Trello, GitHub Issues, or similar) Strong attention to detail and a structured testing approach Ownership of an Android device (Android 8.0 or higher) Availability to work flexible hours, especially during peak testing weeks (Weeks 4–5) Competencies Experience testing Flutter or other cross-platform applications Knowledge of Android Debug Bridge (ADB) and device logs Familiarity with test case management tools Previous experience working on EdTech or e-learning platforms Basic understanding of offline-first application architecture ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent ✅ Success Measures Zero critical (P0) bugs at project completion All high-priority (P1) bugs resolved or documented with workarounds 100% validation of offline functionality All seven games fully tested and approved for demo Average bug resolution time under 24 hours for P0/P1 issues Complete test coverage documented against acceptance criteria 📩 How to Apply Qualified candidates are encouraged to send cover letter and CV to [Upgrade to PRO to see contact].
