QA Tester

#Role: #QA #Tester Location: #100% #remote, first preference is #local  Duration: 3 months + #Only #W2/ #No #C2C JOB DESCRIPTION Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in REST API automation testing (Karate or REST Assured – Mandatory) • 3+ years of experience in database testing • Hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript/TypeScript (for Karate), and SQL • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter • Strong understanding of JSON/XML, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), schema validation • Experience working with Maven/Gradle, TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber BDD   Preferred Qualifications: • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, flexible, and a strong team player • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in dynamic conditions • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities with high attention to detail • Adept at mentoring junior QA engineers and partnering across engineering teams • Experience with the full SDLC and working in Agile/Scrum teams • Experience with API contract testing, Swagger/OpenAPI • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) for API testing • Experience testing with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis) (Nice to have) • Familiarity with API mocking tools (WireMock/MockServer) (Nice to have) • Exposure to security testing concepts (OWASP API Security) (Nice to have) • Experience in banking/financial services, payments, or regulated enterprise applications Required Skills : • 5+ years of experience in REST API automation testing (Karate or REST Assured – Mandatory) • 3+ years of experience in database testing • Hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript/TypeScript (for Karate), and SQL • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter • Strong understanding of JSON/XML, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), schema validation • Experience working with Maven/Gradle, TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber BDD Why Choose Us?
