QA Tester

Hi All, Hiring for below positon Position: Sr. QA/Tester Location: Remote Term : Long Term Contract/Fulltime (W2/FTE only)   Position Overview The Senior Tester is a hands‑on QA expert responsible for driving high‑quality software delivery across DDI and M&O initiatives. This role blends deep technical testing skills, strong SQL expertise, automation capability, and leadership in mentoring junior team members. Key Responsibilities · Test Planning & Design o Analyze requirements to design detailed test plans and cases. o Define test objectives and acceptance criteria. o Promote and contribute to Test CoE processes.   · Test Execution & Defect Management o Perform functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing. o Conduct advanced SQL queries for backend validation. o Document, track, and analyze defects.   · Automation Expertise o Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts. o Identify automation candidates. o Optimize automation frameworks.   · Leadership & Mentoring o Mentor testers in test design, SQL, and automation. o Conduct peer reviews of test artifacts. o Provide technical leadership across the team.   · Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement o Work with developers, BAs, and release management. o Support release cycles and regression planning. o Collaborate with onsite/offshore teams.   · Risk & Issue Support o Identify risks and escalate as needed. o Support mitigation strategies. Qualifications · 5+ years software testing experience. · Healthcare/Medicaid/MMIS experience. · Advanced SQL expertise. · Experience with ALM/Quality Center. · Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, UFT. · Strong analytical and communication skills.
